Thank you, Petra, for sharing about your grandmother. I have become closer to my grandmother more in the past 15 years. She has been gone for over 40 years, but the time she spent with me is crystal clear. I honor her and myself mostly, by talking to her about anything and everything. I mainly ask for advice and a blessing! May the love of your Grandmother Lavonne live on in you and may you know her peace!

SO many things touched my heart in this post today! The Hummingbird lesson--Change begins with ONE...We honor my MIL's memory by planting Hyacinth Bean Vines from seeds she gave us years ago. I honor my mother (she is 93 w/cancer) by keeping her 30+ year old compost pile active (in my adjoining backyard). In addition, I will protect and cultivate her Heirloom bean seeds--which she calls her legacy (we too live in Kentucky...). My hope is to be as the hummingbird-to do my best to nurture and encourage harmony with nature and the world around me--to Honor all the Gifts I have been presented and give back more than I take. Thank you again your post!
